   Enjoy one of Croatia’s most beautiful seaside towns at Apartment Allegra a historic stone apartment (103m2/1,110sqft) right in Makarska’s old centre. Make yourself at home in the bright and sunny apartment located on the top floor of a 3 storey walk-up with views of the ocean, the majestic Biokovo mountain range and the terracotta roof tops of the old town. Apartment Allegra’s location is ideal, just steps away from the charming town square and harbourfront, surrounded by many shops, restaurants, cafes, boutiques and just a short walk to the main beach. Step around the corner and you can immerse yourself even deeper into the local scene with a visit to the open-air flower and fruit market. Off-site parking is included in price. Sleeping: sleeps 6 people in 3 large double bedrooms (plus 2 person sofa bed). All linen provided. Bedroom 1: 2 x single beds, ceiling fan. Bedroom 2: 1 x queen sized bed, sofa bed (sleeps additional 2), ceiling fan. Bedroom 3: 2 x single beds, celling fan.

Makarska

   Makarska is one of the most popular tourist destinations on the Croatian coast. Set against the backdrop of the mighty Biokovo mountain range it features stunning beaches, inspiring nature walks and many cafes, bars and restaurants. The town has a vibrant beach culture with a string of popular beach bars and dance venues.
The town is well known for its gorgeous white pebble main beach, which is almost 2 kilometres long and surrounded by fragrant pine trees. For the more active tourist facilities include boat hire (power or sail), scuba diving, kayaking, parasailing, banana-boat riding, bike hire, bungy jumping and mountain hiking. Makarska is also a popular location for daily excursions to the local islands of Brac, Korcula and Hvar. The town has an excellent and reliable bus service to other towns along the Makarska Riviera including Brela, Baska Voda and Tucepi
